How access works
Clients get a signed, expiring link rather than a login.
That is a deliberate security decision, not a convenience one. An account means a password to leak, a user record to breach and a reset flow to get wrong. A signed link carries its own audience and expiry, so it cannot be replayed as a session, and revoking it is deleting a single token rather than deactivating a person.
It is also simply less friction. Nobody on your side has to be onboarded to a tool they will use for eleven weeks and never open again — you forward the link to whoever needs it, including a board member who wants to look once.
The board updates because work happened, not because someone wrote a status report. If a project stalls, you see it on the same day we do.
